OFFER 02 — VIBE CODE RESCUE

You vibe coded something real. Let's make it production grade.

You built an app with AI tools and real people use it. Now it has to survive real users, real money, and someone else reading the code. I've spent 25 years making software production grade. Yours is fixable, and probably without starting over.

The tool that felt like a superpower two months ago feels like quicksand now. The AI fixes one bug and adds two. You ask for a small change and watch it rewrite half the codebase. What took ten seconds to break takes ten prompts to repair.

Maybe you've read the horror stories. A hundred and fifty thousand lines of generated code, most of it needing rework. Apps leaking API keys. A database wiped by an agent that panicked. You don't need the lecture. You need someone who can read the code, find what actually matters, and fix it.

So here's what I actually think: you shipped. You found users. You validated a business before hiring a single engineer. That was the hard part, and you did it. The code is the fixable part.

HOW THIS GOES

No mystery. Here's the shape of it.

WEEK 0

We talk for 30 minutes about what you built, what is breaking, and what scares you. You leave with a straight answer about whether I can help, free either way.

WEEKS 1-2

I read the whole codebase. Security, data handling, architecture, the dependency mess, all of it. You get the teardown report: every finding ranked by risk, written in plain English.

WEEKS 3-6

I fix in priority order. Security holes first, then stability, then whatever is slowing you down. You get working code shipped to production every week, not a binder of recommendations.

AFTER

You get documentation, tests, and a maintenance plan a future engineer can pick up cold. The app stays yours, including everything I learned about it.

A FAIR FILTER

This works best when it fits.

FOR YOU IF

  • You vibe coded something with real users and real revenue
  • Investors or customers are asking security questions you cannot answer yet
  • Every new feature seems to break two old ones
  • You want to keep shipping fast without the app falling over

NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You want someone to take a spec and disappear for six months
  • The app has no users yet. Ship it first, then call me
  • You are looking for the cheapest possible patch job
  • You want to be told vibe coding was a mistake. It was not

WHY ME

I've done this before. On the record.

CODEBASES IN MY OWN CURRENT BUILD, SOLO

I have rescued production systems at companies you have heard of, and I still ship code every week. AI-generated code does not scare me. Unreviewed code in production does.

NEXT STEP

Bring me the app.

30 minutes. Tell me what you built and what's breaking. I'll tell you the three things I'd fix first and whether you need me at all. No pitch, no judgment.
